Hi I'm Glenn.

I'm a husband and father of 4, and an electrical engineer who enjoys sports, hiking by a mountain stream, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up working in a small family run grocery store where I was taught the value of work by my parents. I enjoyed playing many sports, basketball being my favorite. I'm married to a great person, we have 4 children (3 of whom are now married) and enjoy spending time together as a family. I enjoy old music favorites, snorkeling, sports, the outdoors and mountains, and have had some great memories hiking with family through slot canyons with a mountain stream at our feet and red rock cliffs towering on each side above. By day I work as an electrical engineer and enjoy the satisfaction when a project you helped design is completed.

Why I am a Mormon

Simply because through my own life experiences I have come to strongly believe or know in my heart that the teachings of the church are true, and if I follow them, I will find happiness and peace. My family has been blessed to be members of this church for several generations, which I'm very thankful for, but that didn't mean that I automatically believed its teachings myself. I've come to know for myself that Jesus Christ lives and is concerned for each one of us. This church and it's teachings have blessed my life and my family immensely. I love the perspective the gospel gives to everyday life, and love that my church encourages me constantly to be a better Christian, a better husband, father, employee, and to strive to improve in all areas of my life.

How I live my faith

I love voluntarily serving with others in this church as we try to help each other find happiness by living the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am amazed at the qualities and good, honest hearts I see in members of this church as they teach lessons on gospel principles, donate time and resources to help the poor and needy, and follow the example of Christ. I'm also grateful for the emphasis the church places on helping youth in today's hectic and morally challenging environment. My own children have greatly been blessed as they have been able to associate with other youth who are seeking to follow Jesus Christ and by the generous service of fun and caring adult leaders. My own life has been better because I have had the opportunity to serve in the church with youth, teaching classes, and help in administrative activities.
