Hi I'm Kari Davis

I am and artist, photographer, mother, zumba instructor, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, mother of 5 young kids, artist, and photographer. I home birth. I enjoy surfing, snowboarding, wake boarding, or just about anything with my kids. I love providing a creative and explorative home which means "lots of messes!" My kids love to create, invent, and imagine. I married my husband in the Washington DC temple. Together we have taught early morning seminary, served many youth across the country, been able to share the gospel with followers of my work and have reached out to the spanish speaking population. We love new adventures and hope to serve a mission when our kids are grown. I have the unique opportunity to be an aunt to two nephews with needs. When one was diagnosed with Leukemia I would fly out and paint his windows during treatment. I also got to share this talent with others on his floor. I also get to help my younger sister with her baby with needs. What a blessing to be able to use my talents to help cheer, uplift, and provide memories to last a lifetime!

Why I am a Mormon

At a young age I was given the opportunity to feel those quiet whisperings of the Holy Ghost. Move with emotions I had not felt before I knew there was a living Father in Heaven who knew me and cared about me. From simple experiences I have only come to know God the Father and Jesus Christ that much more. Blessing as well as trial have filled my life, but I know they have been to bring me closer to them. As a youth I promised to live as modern prophets instructed. For this I was not included by many but the blessings in the end have been worth the wait.

How I live my faith

I have been able to serve the fellow women in my church as well as being a youth leader, and teaching children during singing time. I feel I live my faith by not judging others, trying my best to help those less fortunate. I volunteer at my kids school, as well as participate in various community organizations. I do my best as a mother, living and teaching values that are often lost or forgotten with these upcoming generation. I am open with all of those around me, especially my followers on facebook, about my beliefs and opinions to an ever so changing society.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

To make sacred and special promises with the Lord. To gain a better understanding of our purpose here on earth and to help provide gospel ordinances for those who may have passed without having the opportunity to have done this for themselves. Show more Show less
