Hi I'm Chelsea

I am a wife and a mother. I'm a mormon.

About Me

My husband and I were married in a last years of college. We started having children right away. I was able to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. I have made the decision to be a stay at home Mom. Although I am often asked why I do not work when I have a degree, I am grateful that I have the ability to stay home and raise my children. I enjoy many things like cooking (especially sweets), sewing, music, and decorating my home. My newest hobby and love is ZUMBA! I have just become a certified instructor and I love what a healthy lifestyle I am able to have with consistent exercise. It is SO fun, which makes it a lot easier to stay healthy for my family!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I always, new the church was true. I never questioned it. But that doesn't mean that it was always easy. Life is hard, and sometimes having different standards than your peers can be difficult. As my understanding and love of the gospel grew, I came to understand how much easier it was to live this lifestyle than any other. When it came time to make a tough decision, I already knew what my answer was because of the morals and standards I had set for my life. I set those standards because of the influence of the gospel. I have also learned how much my Savior and Heavenly Father love me. It is an unconditional, unfathomable love that blesses my life each day. I am a Mormon because the standards I follow allow me to live a happy life, where I can see my eternal blessings.

How I live my faith

I am the current Choir Director for my Ward. With the help of the ward choir members I am able to share my testimony through music. Growing up in a very musical home, I was able to understand the importance of music. Now that I am older, and I can no longer participate in school choirs, I am grateful for Ward Choirs where I can still develop my talents and learn and grow. I know that I can help to bring a stronger spirit into church meetings through my calling and I am grateful for my opportunity to serve.
