Hi I'm Bekah

I love being Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student with a major in Humanities: Media Arts (Film) Emphasis and a minor in English editing. I enjoy playing the piano, reading any book I can get my hands on, cooking, watching movies, and playing tennis. I am a senior in college. I want to become a professor or maybe a nurse or a midwife. I love to serve my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church and became a baptized member at the age of eight. Unfortunately, during my high school years I became inactive in my heart and fell away from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and many of its teachings. Those few months of my life were among the hardest I have ever experienced. I felt lost and confused. I continued to do things which were harmful to myself and my family. Eventually, through the work of a kind neighbor and youth leader I realized that my life was headed in the wrong direction. I reconciled with what I had been struggling and gained a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as revealed through latter-day prophets. I have never felt more peace as I did the night I prayed by my bed to gain a personal testimony of the truthfulness of the church which I had so long participated in. I recollected the instances in which God had blessed me and shown me miracles. I promise that this church and this gospel will bring you more happiness than you can ever imagine through the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the blessings which He will bestow upon you.

How I live my faith

I teach children about the gospel with my husband in our ward. I love helping the children come closer to Christ.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Bekah
Everything on earth is a witness of the divine. I believe there is a God because I have felt his love. I cannot deny that. The Holy Spirit is one of the most profound witnesses of the fact that there is a God. I know that I have felt the Holy Ghost telling me that I have a Heavenly Father who cares for me and loves me.
