Hi I'm Tim

Hello. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father to three great sons and a husband to a wonderful wife of 25+ years. Currently I am getting my MBA, working full time, and enjoying my family. I am a convert to the LDS church.

Why I am a Mormon

The church has taught me so much about my life, the purpose on this earth, how challenges in our lives can make us stronger and more faithful, and so much more. The gospel has made a huge difference in my life. It literally saved me. For once in my life, I feel that I have a purpose, that God knows and loves me as an individual, and that because I am a child of God I can become a better person one day at a time, one precept at a time. I am eternally grateful to have been introduced to the church. It truly has changed my life for the better.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a ward missionary i.e., someone that helps share the gospel and teach others about the great blessings it can bring into their lives. I also taught the youth about the basic principles of the doctrine for many years and truly enjoyed that experience.

What is being a Mormon like?

Tim
Everyday each of us are faced with difficult challenges, just like everyone else in the world. The church has helped me to understand that although I fail will/do along the way, that through repentance, faith, and hard work, I can overcome my shortcomings and have joy in my life. While I know that the rains, winds, and hail will come, I know that my father in heaven has given me the greatest gift (the gospel) that allows me to feel of his love and receive answers to my prayers by reading and studying the scriptures and striving each day to hopefully live better than the day before. Being a Mormon has helped me to better understand that we are all brothers and sisters and God is our heavenly father. The church gives me hope, understanding, and a better relationship with my father in heaven. I feel so blessed to be able to call myself a Mormon. Show more Show less
