Hi I'm Kreigh

I grew up in Idaho and travel the United States for work as an Instrument Technician at power generation plants. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my wife of 39 years, we have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, and 10 grandchildren. I love being a grandpa (papa), golfing, water skiing, riding my bike 6 days a week during the summer and exercising during the winter, bike doesn't work too well on snow. I enjoy seeing different parts of the country (not the tornado season so much in Tennessee) and meeting different people as I travel for my work. I worked for 35 years near my home town, because of the economy I was laid off from my job in 2008, however I was blessed to be able to find work, even though it requires traveling accross the United States. That has been a blessing because of the wonderful people my sweetheart and I have been able to meet. My work allows me to be home during the summer and winter months to enjoy family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church but was not always active in attending church and spent some time not living it's teachings. After I got married I found that there was something missing in my life. We, my wife and I, seemed to be going nowhere other than just living from day to day. I began going to school to get a college education and during that time some members of the church, called Home Teachers, began visiting us. As we got to know them better they invited us to attend church with them and their families, we began to see the joy and happiness in their families and a feeling of love for each other and for us. As we attended church and gradually began to do the things that God asks his children on earth to do we began to feel his love for us which we had not felt thus far in our married lives. That was about 30 years ago, since that time we have raised a family, which isn't always an easy task. We have been blessed to have wonderfull experiences with our children and grand children as they were being raised and still continue to have warm and joyfull experience with them. The feeling of love that we have for them continually reminds me of the love we felt from our Father in Heaven as we began living our lives as Jesus Christ would want us to live, a life of service and love.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in the church, the past two years that I have been traveling for work makes it a little harder because I am not in one place for more than about 2 months, however, each ward that I am in I attend my meetings and participate in classes, give talks when asked too and do whatever else I can to help the members and other people, not of our faith, in the area. I read the scriptures daily and say my prayers daily, thanking God for all that he gives me. I work with a lot of people who are not members of our church and I try to set an example of the way that Jesus would live if he were here.
