Hi I'm Lacy

I'm a student and a mother. My husband and I met on a Presidential campaign. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a new mother. My son just turned a year old. I'm slowly realizing that even when I feel behind, I'm much more adept at juggling all the things a mom has to juggle than I was a year ago. My husband and I like to watch and critique movies together and go take our son to places he enjoys.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, I only knew one Mormon. When I went away to college, I met some more individuals and families who followed the teachings of Christ and they taught me what it meant to live by the restored gospel on the earth. The things I learned were plain and simple. After studying them out in my heart and praying with true intent, I was given confirmation that this gospel is true, that God loves me, and that he has a plan for me. Striving to live the way God wants me to and trying to follow his plan have brought me the greatest happiness in my life: my husband and son.

How I live my faith

I am mindful of the teachings of Jesus Christ everyday. When I see my fellow man in need, I do my best to follow Christ's example. I do my very best to treat everyone the way I want to be treated and to see everyone the way that God does. It's difficult in a world of conflict and global unrest to see everyone for who they truly are. Still, as followers of the Savior, I believe it is our duty to do so and that a lot of good can come from this belief. I know, in my life, it has made all the difference in my relationships with my family and friends. I also live my faith by teaching others. I know that I have been given the opportunity to teach because it helps me most of all to learn important lessons that God needs me to learn.
