Hi I'm Kendra

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying at BYU majoring in Genetics. I want to go to medical school/ Physician's Assistant school and I love sciences!! I love to play sports, especially tennis and soccer. I just got home from serving a mission for the LDS church in Curitiba, Brazil for 18 months. I love my family, I would do anything for them! I love music, hiking, and spending time with my friends. I am the oldest of 4.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living Heavenly Father's gospel has brought so much happiness to my life. I wouldn't be the person I am without the Gospel. I love my Heavenly Father so much and I always want to strive to develop a better relationship with him. I know the Book of Mormon is true, after reading it multiple times. I know my family has been blessed so much because of our decision to be obedient to Heavenly Father's will.

How I live my faith

I didn't truly believe in my faith until I started living it. I have taught sunday school classes and have always tried to help people in any way I can. I have volunteered at many hospitals, helping those who are sick and trying to comfort them. I have also played the piano in nursing homes, and I have helped many charity programs. Our church is centered on serving others, like our Heavenly Father wants us to do. Serving others is key to happiness.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Kendra
They won't make you do anything you don't want to do. They teach of happiness, of how to be a better family, of how you can better yourself. They are normal people like the rest of us! Show more Show less

What is the Relief Society?

Kendra
The Relief Society is a women's organization centered around serving and uplifting women. Each sunday at the third hour of church the women get together for a lesson about a gospel topic. The Relief Society also has activities sometimes during the week to help those in need. As part of Relief Society we have visiting teaching, where you and another member of the Relief Society go and visit two other members of the Relief Society. We all support each other and try to help in any way we can. Show more Show less
