Hi I'm Connie

I grew up in South Georgia. I joined the Church in 2006. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work with my husband. I don't have to ask him how things went at work today! I feel like together we take care of of a lot of people. It gives me great satisfaction to be his helpmeet.

Why I am a Mormon

Before I met my daughter in law and her family, I thought you had to be born a Mormon. We immediately loved her, she was special. One of the first things we learned is that Mormons have eternal marriage, families. We had always prayed that we would be together forever. She gave us The Book of Mormon after answering many, many questions. As we started going to Church and learning the full gospel, it answered so many questions: why are we here, where did we come from, where are we going? I am so happy. I know we have a Heavenly Father that loves each and every one of us. I know he sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ to walk among men and teach us the gospel and to redeem us. I know that my Redeemer lives! I know the Holy Spirit is our constant companion to teach, guide, comfort and witness to us. I love our Scriptures: The Holy Bible and the Book of Mormon. The scriptures are full of accounts of ordinary people doing extraordinary works. I believe Our Heavenly Father chose an ordinary young man, Joseph Smith, to restore The Church of Jesus Christ and interpret the Book of Mormon. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

How I live my faith

I teach Sunday School to 10 year olds. As I tell them, we are learning the gospel together.

What do Mormons believe happens after we die?

Families Are Forever. We believe that if you follow the path that Our Savior, Jesus Christ, made for us; obey His (Our Heavenly Father) commandments and endure to the end, you will return to live in Heaven. Show more Show less
