Hi I'm Ken

I'm a Husban and Father. I'm a sports junkie. I love life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a father to 4 wonderful children. I work for a non-profit organization helping with their budgets and financial Analysis. I'm an avid sports fanantic, and will pretty much watch any sport that would be put on ESPN. I enjoy coaching my kids in sports, and especially enjoy watching them play the sports they love.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 16, because I found out for myself that it was true. Most of my family were members, but I chose to wait to be baptized until I could find out for myself. I attended one of my uncle's mission reunions (when a missionary returns, they usually talk in church), and I felt the spirit so strongly that I decided to study a little more about the church. I asked my mom if I should read the Bible or the Book of Mormon first, and she told me the Book of Mormon. After reading the Book of Mormon for a few days, the missionaries just so happened to knock on the door, and they began to teach me more about Joseph Smith, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. After praying and receiving an answer that the church was true, I was baptized a few weeks later.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by abiding by the principles taught in the church, which are, obey the commandments, attend your church meetings, fulfill your church callings, love one another, serve your community, and love your family and teach them the ways of the Lord.
