Hi I'm Ellie

I grew up in Maine. I'm a college graduate and a stay-at-home mom by choice. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and busy mother of six children. I love taking pictures of my kids and capturing the small moments that make up the big picture of our family. I enjoy turning holidays into family celebrations. I also enjoy reading, especially books that motivate me to be a better person. I love music, chocolate and date nights with my hubby. I do not like laundry, lima beans, or paying bills. I am a people person!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were Mormon. The gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was diligently taught in my childhood home. As a teenager, I went through the normal process of wanting to know if I believed in this church because of my parents or if I had my own testimony. My conversion was simple. One night, while studying the scriptures I had an overwhelming feeling that helped me to know that I believe in this Church because of answers to my own prayers by the Spirit of the Lord. I am a Mormon because I know this gospel is the gospel of our Savior.

How I live my faith

My faith is my life! Because of my faith I strive every day to be the best wife and mom I can. I treasure my family. I also teach 14 and 15 year old girls at church. I have learned that I love teenagers! I love watching youth discover who they are and begin the process of becoming an independent adult. I go monthly with another sister to visit three other women from our congregation. These monthly visits has enabled me to make friends with women who are not always in the same season of life as I am. I learn just as much from them as I hope they learn from me.
