Hi I'm Natalie

I'm a wife, mother of two, and a lover of all things chocolate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay at home mom of two cuties. I love my husband and our family. I also love eating, watching movies/TV shows, and swimming.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a wonderful and loving LDS family with two older brothers and two amazing parents. When I was a child, I always attended church with my family and I went to primary. Even then it felt right. When I turned 8 I chose to be baptized, and I was confirmed and became an official member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I still remember when I came home that day after my dad baptized me, and all I kept thinking was that I wanted to do it again. I didn't know how to describe what I was feeling, and that's when I wrote in my journal for the first time. I talked about the day's events and then I said, "I'm so happy because I HAVE LOVE." After I was baptized, I was filled with so much love and joy, I knew I had made the right decision. Ever since, I have remained active in the church and have increased my testimony of the true gospel of Jesus Christ. As I have read and studied the scriptures, I have come to know of the truthfulness of the Restoration. I know that Joseph Smith translated the gold plates so that we could have another testament of Jesus Christ in these days-The Book of Mormon. I know that it is a book of truth. I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and that he saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that we have a living Prophet today, President Monson, who loves us and guides us under the direct authority of our Savior and Father in Heaven. I am so grateful to have the gospel in my life. It has brought me so much comfort and joy to know of the love that our Heavenly Father and Savior have for me and for all men. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and died for each of us so that we might be able to return and live with Him and our Heavenly Father again. I look forward to that day, and I hope I can continue to improve myself and become more like our Savior. I love my Savior and my Heavenly Father, and I am so grateful for the blessings They give me each day.

How I live my faith

At home I read my scriptures everyday and pray morning and night. These are the basics to increasing my testimony, growing closer to my Savior, and remaining an active and faithful member of the church. I also attend church each week so I can be edified and learn more about the gospel. All in all, how I live my faith is to follow the commandments, live the gospel, be an active member, serve in my ward, and strive to become more like my Savior.
