Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a retired mapping draftsman, digitizer and assessment technician. I've also worked as a rural carrier associate for the US Post Office, a circuit card builder and inspector, a motor builder on an assemblyline, a proofreader for a publishing company, and a cartoonist. Now I do a lot of sewing, knitting, blogging, and planning things to connect with grandchildren!

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church with my family as a child, but then I did some research when I got older, so that I would know if the church was true and make my own commitment to following Christ's teachings. I read all of the book A Marvelous Work and a Wonder by Legrand Richards, looked up all of the cross references to ancient scriptures, and prayed to know that the things I read were true and correct. During that time of intense questioning and study, I came to love the church's teachings and realize they must be the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Currently I'm working as a church service missionary: I help in a call center, finding answers to questions from patrons of the church's free online family history program, Family Search/Family Tree. I also enjoy working with the youth in the church.
