Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a Mormon. I love my family, and I love adventure.

About Me

I am a father, a husband, a teacher, and a graduate student. I love spending time with my wife and mischievous baby daughter. I also love reading, rock climbing, playing the piano, singing, and watching movies. I spent five years living in Brazil, I am fluent in Portuguese, and I currently teach ninth grade English in Baltimore, Maryland.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of how it blesses my life. The things I learn at church are crucial to my happiness and success in life. I know God loves me and that He answers my prayers. I have asked Him for many answers throughout my life, and I know He cares about me and will help me return to Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be more like Jesus Christ every day. I recognize that I am not perfect, and try always to be nice to those around me and ask for forgiveness when I make mistakes. I live my faith by keeping clear of bad influences in my life and surrounding myself with good and uplifting things.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Mormons strongly believe that the family is the most important thing in our lives. We can only be truly happy through our interactions with family members. We believe that we can live with our families forever -- even after death. This is possible through the mercy of Jesus Christ and by our obedience to His commandments. Show more Show less
