Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a person that likes to have fun and work hard at the same time. I was raised to work hard and to be an example to those around me and to help people grow to be better. I really love to be outdoors I love work on jeeps I love off roading and being out trying to climb the bigger hill or bigger mound of dirt. I was somewhat raised on a farm in southern Utah it has helped me to understand the gospel and to become closer to my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. I have learned how important family is and what the more important parts of life are. I am a diabetic and I have been for 15years it has been a hard but fun road I have lived a normal life and I am better because of it. I have been able to show others that it very easy to live and be yourself even when you have diabetes.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for all my life. I was born and raised in the Church but I didn't always understand why, I just went because that is what the family was doing. This happened till I was about 17-18 years old. I love Jeeping, off Roading, and really getting stuck in the mud. My friend and I put a lift on his jeep. It was a 98' Grand Cherokee 5.2 litter motor in it great jeep. The only thing is with those jeeps they are top heavy and they tip a little easier than the others. The lift size was a 3in lift and it was a little tippy but not much more than before. One month after that was done we had a problem with the lift and got it fixed and it was November of 2009 and 5days before thanksgiving. We went to make sure it was ready for the long trip from Northern Utah to Southern Utah it was about 8:30-9pm and it had snowed the day before and it froze and melted and froze and when that happens it creates black Ice and it is slick. We were driving back from out test and we hit Ice and all the sudden we did a 180 and hit a snow bank. Because of the lift we were higher than the snow bank and it flipped us right over the cab got dented in and to about 2in above our head and if we wouldn’t have had our seat belts on we would have been smashed. We both made sure we were ok then we climbed out of our seats and made our way out of the jeep and we got out nothing wrong with us and we were fine. We looked at each other and I said lets pray we prayed and gave thanks for our safety it was an amazing feeling we felt we were watched over it was an amazing feeling. We looked back at the jeep it had formed around us and it just looked like we should have a had a lot more of a problem I knew that night I was a Child of God and had many great things to do I felt so blessed and so much more alive and thankful for life. I know this church is true and that it blesses me every day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith now by serving others and I show others that I will help anyone that I can. I am serving a mission for the Church in Oregon and I am trying to do my best always. I go to church every day I am helping others come unto Christ and I am trying to show others what joy the gospel brings to my life and how much it will bless their live.
