Hi I'm Thomas

I love pretending to play guitar, I love the great outdoors, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I Love anything outdoors. I enjoy pretending to play guitar.Guitar Hero, that game is sick. I love my family, i know that families are forever, and i am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up in the mormon religion, but there comes a day when you have to find out for yourself it is really true. So i realized the only way i was to know if the mormon faith was true was to Read the Book of Mormon and to pray to know if it was translated by the power of God. I want you to know it is, and i am grateful for the privelage i have to share what i know to be true with those that are truly desiring to learn how to know what i know. In the Canada Edmonton area. If you live here i bet you might have seen me walking around.

How I live my faith

I do my best one day at a time, but i do seek to serve at every chance. Mosiah 217 is what comes to mind. If we want to serve God the best way to do that is to lighten the load off of some one elses soulders. Its helps them and you always get a good feeling helping others. I love teaching the Gospel, and you can't teach a something you don't live. so each day i strive to apply the things i teach everyday. One day at a time.

What do Mormons believe happens after we die?

Thomas
After we die our bodies are buried in the ground and our spirits go to the Spirit World. Which is a similar to a waiting room til we are ressurected. If we have accepted God's message in mortality we will be sharing the message of the restored gospel with those that haven't had there chance to hear Gods truth. Because God is a just and fair God. If that is so then why wouldn't he give all of his Children which he loves an equal oppritunity. It only makes sense Death is apart of God's plan and it is not the end but the begining. This plan is for us to be happy in this life and after we are Ressurected.  Show more Show less

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Thomas
Well best way that some one told me was "the parable of the ice cream man." If an ice cream man was on the Highway telling you to pull over would you, or would you tell him to get lost? Okay now if a Police officer did the same thing would you pull over, or would you tell him to get lost? The reason you would pull over for the Policeman and not the Ice Cream man is because of the authority that he has. So talking to him you want to be as nice as you can so hopefully he doesn't write you up a ticket for speeding. So you do things the Policeman's way. So we should be baptized the way God wants us to be baptized, and that is by the Priesthood authority given to men by God. That has been restored when Joesph Smith was called to be a prophet. John the Baptist confirmed the priesthood to baptize on his head. Thus restoring the priesthood on the earth again today.  Show more Show less
