Hi I'm Jared

I'm a Californian, a songwriter, a huge sports fan, and a Mormon!

About Me

I LOVE music! There's something about it that connects with all of us, and I treasure the experiences I have creating and generating music. I love how sports work, how there's an objective and goal and the plans and preperation that are put into that goal. I love people and I love food! I have a talents for forgetting things, cooking Ramen, and procrastinating. But hey, this life's all about learning!

Why I am a Mormon

It says in the Bible that "...the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperence". These fruits are how we know truth is being taught, and they're not articifial. I can't deny what I've felt from the Holy Spirit. Christ also taught us that "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." I am free from worry, from doubt, from confusion. I'm grateful each and everyday for Christ allowing me to share this freedom I've found in Him!

How I live my faith

I just try to practice what I preach. Christ taught us to love everyone regardless. You find that when you love people and care about them and not yourself, that life is just better and happier. When you put Christ and his teaching first and apply them to the daily grind of life, you become the best version of you.

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. While the Bible was being written by prophets in Egypt and Israel and so forth, the Book of Mormon was being written by prophets on the American continent. Christianity's favorite scripture is found in John and says "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son..." We know that Jesus Christ isn't just the Savior of one nation over in Jerusalem, but he's the Savior of the entire world. Because of that, he gave the people of the ancient America's an opportunity to accept His Gospel. The Book of Mormon prophet Nephi wrote that "we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins." I rejoice in having another sacred and holy record of scripture that goes hand in hand with the Holy Bible. Show more Show less
