Hi I'm Francesca

I was born in Essex. I moved to Lincolnshire at age 8. I was baptised at age 12. I am currently serving as a missionary.

About Me

I was baptised at 12 years old when my mother joined the church. At that point I didn't have a real testimony of the Saviour, I did however, know that there was a God, or at least I had hoped there was. Although I lacked in testimony, I tried to alter my life so that it was more in tune with the principles and standards taught at church. I told my close friends of this change I wanted to make and they helped me along even though they did not want that for themselves. I started taking more of an interest in the church and the gospel when I was about 14 or 15, when life was really getting tough. My testimony of the gospel was growing, at a slow pace. At age 18 I found my testimony. At age 19 my close friend in the church taught me how to pray. I had never really learnt that, or the sigificance of it. That changed my life. It was good. But still, I admit, I take that for granted sometimes. At age 20 I served a mini mission. I served for just 4days. They were the most spiritually uplifting days of my life at that point. It was a beautiful experience. At age 21 I graduated from University and filled in my missionary application. I received my call on Christmas eve 2012 and am now serveing in the London South Mission. My life has changed for the better and continues to while I walk in the direction God has planned for me. Life only gets tough when I leave that path. I am a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have felt the love of God more in my life by following this gospel than by doing anything else. I have gained more peace and understanding from reading the Bible and the Book of Mormon than by reading any other books. Nothing has brought me more joy than living the gospel. When you find something you like, you go back to it...when you find something you love, you make it a part of your life. I am a Mormon because I love it.

How I live my faith

I am not just a Sunday Saint. I live the gospel every day. I do not just pray or search the holy scriptures on a Sunday, I do it everyday. I am not perfect in my efforts to do this but the important thing is that I try. The Lord has promised that if we try our very best, He will do the rest. I don't just have a faith...I exercise and act upon that faith.
