Hi I'm Greg

I'm a husband, a father, a nurse practitioner. I am Canadian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to horse around with my 4 young kids and also enjoy the limited quiet time I have with my wife (see comment about children). I love to play sports, especially basketball and being active. Our family movie nights are the fun highlight of the week.

Why I am a Mormon

That is a good question. My family goes back to the early part of the church with relatives that associated with Joseph Smith and his family. So that may be enough for some as a reason to be a Mormon, because of tradition. My parents are members of the church, my grandparents, great grandparents and so on were members, so why not me? It was good enough for them, right? Well, I needed to know for myself so I prayed to know if this church was the true church of Christ and I know that God answered that prayer.....and I truly know of His love for me. Prayers are consistently answered and I see little miracles all around me. I am truly blessed.

How I live my faith

I try to teach my children through example and learning moments to be good people, kind and generous to everyone. How to be the good friend on the playground, make everyone feel accepted and welcome in whatever you do. My occupation permits me opportunities to serve and help others and that brings me joy and satisfaction. I try to help the youth in my church to strive to guide them to look for the good in themselves and in others and to help those in need no matter what their faith or beliefs. By teaching them that it is okay to be true to themselves and God, no matter what type of external pressures they encounter. There is always hope, even in those dark times.
