Hi I'm Rob Mayfield

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 3 wonderful daughters and my family has always been the most important thing to me. I am currently single, but engaged to marry a wonderful woman with an outstanding family of her own. I have spent the last 21 years working in the Automotive Industry for Auto manufacturers and an Automotive Marketing Research supplier. I am presently seeking a new career on the retail side of this very dynamic and exciting industry. I have traveled around the world and lived abroad twice which is something i enjoy very much. My hobbies include playing Golf, Ping Pong and swimming for exercice.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always had a very strong faith and I have come to know for my self that God lives, knows us individually and loves us without reservation. The principals the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches bring people closer together and allow gives purpose to our lives. I love serving and fellowshipping with my ward family.

How I live my faith

I am the Executive Secratary to the Bishop of our ward. The Bishop is the leader in our congregation. He is not a paid clergy, he has a normal job too, but they normally serve for a period of 5 years or so. I help members schedule appointments with him when they have that need as well as handle things the bishop needs so that he has more time to meet with members and help where needed. I love knowing the members and participating in and seeing all the good things that are being done to serve and help one another both in our church and outside. We have something called Home Teaching in our church where each adult male has a companion from among the other adult men in the ward and they are assigned 2-4 families to visit and watch over each month. It is a special way to create and maintain very close friendships and relationships with people you might not otherwise have that opportunity.
