Hi I'm Tim

I am a married retired Salesman for Automobilies. I love riding my two horses, gardening. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Married, the father of 7 children and 22 Grandchildren. My wife and I both are retired and look forward to serving a mission together. My interest in other than the gospel is horses. I have two of which one is a Curlie and the other a Quarter horse. I have been a member since I was 16 years of age and have a strong testimony of the gospel. I have had the opportunity to serve Heavenly Father in both wards and branches in many areas.

Why I am a Mormon

I found a long time ago that questions I had were not being answered by my pastor and was told to just have faith. I met a young lady in high school that was LDS one of 3 in the whole school. She was different from all the other girls so asked her for a date. That led to missionaries coming and teaching me the gospel which I soon discovered had the answers I needed and the rest is history. I still am learning more about the Gospel as I attend the Temple. Learning will be on going as long as we live here on this earth.

How I live my faith

I was taught by my father that wishing something to happen was useless but hard work would make things go your way. The gospel has given me the opportunity to work and strengthen my testimony. I know that the LDS are watched by everyone even other LDS so we must always be our best, and when we are our best our love for the gospel shows.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Tim
Yes I really believe there is a prophet today who guides and direct Heavenly Father church. He lives and I believe he stays in constant communication with our Heavenly Father so that he may receive all that he needs to know through revelation and passes those on to us as members. How thankfull I am for the knowledge I have of my Prophet. Show more Show less

What is the purpose of the welfare services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Tim
As members of he church we have been encouraged by our Prophet to be prepared in temporal and spiritual needs. We are asked to give a generous gift to the Fast Offering which goes to help those that are less fortunate than we. This giving of the gift helps both the giver and the receiver therefore the temporal and spiritual needs are met by both. Show more Show less
