Hi I'm Trevor

I am an Engineer, I'm a husband and father, and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Oregon, went to school at Oregon State University and now live in Georgia. I have been married since 1999 and my wife and I have one daughter. I work as an Engineer doing automation systems for copper furnaces. My work has taken me too many different places around the world. In my spare time I like to fish, spend time with my family and play with technology.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon Church and as I have gotten older I have developed my own relationship with God and have come to believe the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be his church. Throughout my life I have had many experiences that affirm to me that He exists and knows me. I believe that Jesus Christ was and is the savior of mankind and that he is the path to eternal salvation. One of the things I appreciate most about the church is the many answers to life’s questions that it gives. I also believe that there exists an open channel of communication between God and man. I believe in prayer and I believe in inspiration through the Holy Ghost. I have found that by living the teachings of the church, my family and I can find true and lasting happiness and peace.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith by focusing in Jesus Christ and the example he has set for me. Jesus was always doing something for others and rarely doing something for himself. From this example I believe it is important to focus on doing acts that will help my family and others. In the church there are many opportunities to serve. In my time in the church I have been able to work with many people both old and young. This helps me to be be more unselfish and more grateful for the many blessings I have in my life.
