Hi I'm Burke

I'm a college kid, I'm relatively normal, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love having fun. I love music, food, chilling with my friends, and pretty much anything done outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes since. Everything that is taught by our leaders and in the Bible and the Book of Mormon obviously leads towards greater happiness. When I know that what I am doing is what God wants me to do, that makes me happier than anything else in the world.

How I live my faith

I just try and do the best I can to do what's right. It's that simple and it's that difficult. I love having a good time and I love to party, but I know that the best times are going to be had with God after this life is all over.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

We don't use that stuff because we believe that God has a prophet on earth today with whom he talks to and shows the right way for his children to live, and we believe that one of his prophets named Joseph Smith was told by God not to do that stuff. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

I'm majoring in biology right now and so I spend quite a bit of time studying the way the world around us functions. Nature has always been fascinating to me, and the more I learn about the different biological systems that make us and our world up, the more my testimony of God increases. The science of living things is so complex and intricate that the existence of a supreme designer is mandatory. Although all of the science testifies to me of God's existence, my belief in him is not centered in that, I believe in God because I have had numerous experiences in my life where I felt his presence and his guiding hand in my life, and in the life of my close friends and family. I have never seen God, but i have seen the works of His hands, and I know that He is there. Show more Show less
