Hi I'm Paul

I'm a father, husband, and endodontist who lives in and loves the South and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing with my family and doing anything outdoors such as backpacking, flyfishing, scuba diving, managing my tree farm, waterskiing, biking and running. I have fun driving my pickup truck which is often used for transporting energetic boy scouts, hunting with a friend, or getting dirty on the ATV's. I believe in being the eternal student, so I'm taking piano lessons, reading American History, learning to raise chickens and fruit trees, and studying the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found out for myself that the teachings of the church are true. I have searched the scriptures and prayed about them, and felt the peace of the Holy Ghost countless times telling me they are true. I am a Mormon because the prophets of the church and the scriptures that have been given to us teach of the full mission of Jesus Christ, help us understand him, and help us live more like him and eventually become more like him.

How I live my faith

My greatest expression of my faith is how I care for my family. I know we can be an eternal family so every effort given to the family is effort which has eternal value. It is truly building treasure in heaven as the Bible teaches. I also live my faith by serving in the church, mostly scouting and young men activities, and by trying every day to follow the example of the Savior.
