Hi I'm Wes

I live in Michigan. I am an aspiring entrepreneur. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband of a wonderful woman that takes care of me and puts up with my many flaws. My son being born is the greatest, most life changing moment that I have ever experienced. I am very laid back and enjoy hanging out with friends. I am a big sports buff and enjoy playing them all. I have worked as a retail manager for about 9 years and am currently persuing a BA in business communications. I enjoy reading and studying the scriptures and church publications. If I have spare time, I love watching movies.

Why I am a Mormon

Learning and living the gospel of Jesus Christ has freed me from a life of confusion and loneliness. I know with all my heart that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. I have prayed to my Heavenly Father and asked Him if this church is true. He answered me and continues to assure me that the choice I made to be baptized was the most important one that I have ever made. Since that time, I have had the opportunity time and time again to serve our Heavenly Father using the power of His holy Priesthood. I have been sealed for time and all eternity to my wife and son. This promise is the greatest of all the promises that my Father in heaven has made. And in return for doing his will and following the commandments, He has blessed us in so many ways. Since becoming a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have had so much peace and happiness in my life. I have seen miracles. I bear witness that my Savior lives. He gave of His life so that I may live on as well. Without the church and the gospel I would cease to have all that I hold dear. I am Mormon because I need to be.

How I live my faith

The influence of the Holy Ghost is very necessary for me to have when doing what the Lord has asked me to do. I pray and read my scriptures everyday so that I may be in tune to the will of the Father. I realize that I could not do all that is asked of me alone, but am in constant need of nourishment and guidance from my Father in Heaven. I try my hardest to fulfill my callings and help others. I always seem to fall short, but the great thing about being imperfect is that there is always room to improve.
