Hi I'm Paul

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a family man that loves the outdoor life. I have a passion for fishing and this takes me to some of the most beautiful parts of the world. I try to keep fit playing soccer, squash and raquetball. I love to travel and scuba dive around the world. I love my wife and 5 kids - they bring me so much happiness!

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church back in 1977 when I was only 12 years old. The missionaries that taught my family were like the best brothers you could ever ask for. They answered many of my questions and opened my eyes to truths that have blessed my life in so many ways. I have drawn closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and know that they love me despite my weaknesses. I know that the Gospel has been Restored in its fulness and contains all the Power and Truths that will help me return to my Heavenly Father. Being a Mormon brings Peace, Protection and Joy and an opportunity to be with your loved ones forever!

How I live my faith

I coach 2 soccer teams each week and enjoy helping my U15 and U17 boys developing into fine players. I encourage the boys to play fairly and to use clean language on and off the pitch. This isn't easy when many of the opposing teams foul and curse. However by setting an example and talking to the other coaches we have noticed that the matches are improving and swearing is becoming less of a problem. Each month my son and I visit and help 4 families in our local church. Each of them having differing needs and challenges. It brings us great joy to serve these families and help where we can. Serving together allows us to show our love to the Lord and brings us closer. I love to share the Gospel with my friends. I feel blessed as I help others develop their faith in the Saviour and his truths. I also help prepare our Sunday worship services. This brings me great Joy as I see our Young Children, Youth and New members participate in the Service. They develop confidience in public speaking and learn so much from their assigned topics.
