Hi I'm Dustin

I was raised in Arizona, lived in Costa Rica, and am on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an active duty member of the U.S. military. My military duties have taken me to Croatia, Armenia, Republic of Georgia, Turkey, Romania, Iraq, and Kuwait. I'm a father of two. My hobbies are sports, travel, cooking, and history. I'm currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Management of Information Technology. I served a two year mission to Costa Rica.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a mormon, but when I entered my teenage years I began to question my beliefs. It was through this questioning that I was able to realise the truth of the Book of Mormon and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I try to implement the gospel of Jesus Christ into my life to my best ability. I am the mission leader in my local unit. This has blessed me so much, by allowing me to help others find the answers to thier questions in regards to life and family.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

Dustin
The only thing that sets Mormons apart from the rest of the christian faiths is we believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored again to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith. Through this restoration the authority to act in the nameof God, revelaiton and the calling of prophets was restored. We believe in the Bible but also believe in another testament of Jesus Christ which is the Book of Mormon. We utilize both books of scripture to confirm the teachings of Christ since both were written by prophets who live in two seperate hemispheres but existed before, during, and after Christ's time on earth. What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Dustin
The Mormon lifestyle is similar to most other christian lifestyles except we abstain from coffee, tobacco, drugs, and alcohol. We dance, celebrate birthdays and other special occasions. We enjoy sports and recreational activities. We listen to music, watch T.V. and movies. We are active members in our communities. We stress the importance of education, obeying the laws, and supporting the government. Show more Show less
