Hi I'm Kelton

I love sports, love Hmong food, and love the Lord! And I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hey! I grew up on a farm in a tiny little town in Utah. I am so grateful that I have was born on a farm and had the opportunity to work on it my whole life. It has definitely taught me a lot of skills that I have used in my life. I love to play sports, almost anything goes for sports! I am currently learning Hmong and trying to help as many I can come unto Christ. This Church is great!

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon my whole life, but didn't have a strong testimony until I was about 17 and saw the necessity of having the Gospel in my life. The Gospel brings me a hope that I can return to my Heavenly Father after I die and live with Him again. Without the Gospel I know that I would be lost and miserable in this world. I know this Church is true, I know for a fact that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I know that by the Power of God Joseph translated the Book of Mormon and in it contains truth. I am grateful for this Gospel and knowledge of it that I have. And I know that any who take the time to study this Church will come to find through the power of the Holy Ghost that this Church is true as well.

How I live my faith

Being part of a faith and being faithful are two different things. How I live my faith is by remembering our Lord and Savior more than just on Sunday. I'm a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and try to share with others the blessings that living this Gospel has brought me. I know that what this Church teaches can bless everyone everywhere no matter what their circumstances are. God has promised blessings to us for obedience and, by living faithfully, I have seen many of those blessings.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Kelton
In the Bible it teaches us that, "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." (John 3:5) Because baptism is so necessary, God has given us a way to help people who never had the chance to be baptized. There are billions of people who will live life and die without ever knowing about our Heavenly Father and this Gospel. But because God is merciful, he gives everyone a chance to come unto Him. This is why we do baptisms for the dead, so everyone can be saved. Show more Show less
