Hi I'm Garrett

I'm a law student. I'm a husband. I'm a father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah. I served an LDS mission in Lima, Peru. I've been married to my sweet wife for four years. We have a son. I am currently studying law. I hope to work in Hospital Administration upon graduation. I enjoy running, fly fishing, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that the gospel taught in the Mormon Church is the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in its complete purity and truth. I acknowledge that other faiths have noble virtues. I believe the mission of the Mormon church is to add to those positive beliefs in order to come to a unity in our faith of Jesus Christ. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings happiness to me and my family. It gives me a firm foundation to build my life on. It has brought meaning and fulfillment to my life, and I believe that it will do the same for others.

How I live my faith

I enjoy working with others my age. We have a lot in common, yet we are all different. My participation in church activities allows me to socialize on a regular basis. It also allows us to help each other. There is a mutual benefit to be gained by working with others.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

All things are evidence that there is a God. The universe functions on a daily basis in an impecable manner. Even though bad things happen in our lives, I have no doubt that God lives and loves us. Trials are an evidence of God's love for us. He allows us to be tried so that we can gain experience and grow. Show more Show less
