Hi I'm George

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I joined the church when I was 19. It all made sense to me. I prayed about the Book of Mormon and did not get an answer immediately - apparently I did not understand what "real intent" was (see Moroni 10:4). I persevered and did get my answer which has always served as the cornerstone of my testimony. 19 months later I was in the missionary training center, preparing to serve. It was because of my mission that I met the young lady that would eventually become my wife and made friends that have shaped my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Not having grown up as a member of the church has given me a perspective to better appreciate the choices that I have made. I am thankful for teachings that help me to make correct decisions and make me happy.

How I live my faith

Life is a queston of choices. I choose to live my faith daily by engaging in activities that tend to uplift and edify. I choose to serve others and endeavor to make other people happy. There are moments when I recognize manifestations of God's love for me and those who are dear to me. I strive to internalize these "tender mercies" and remember the source of all our blessings.
