Hi I'm Brad Hardisty

I grew up the son of an Air Force Pilot...mostly in Hawaii..I love coaching & high school sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

We moved into a new community 15 years ago and helped develop the high school athletic and booster program. We do most of our work behind the scenes. What we do best is cheer on our 5 kids.

Why I am a Mormon

My Mom wanted a man that did not drink. My Dad decided he rather have her than the beer. My Mom then joined the church after they had 3 children. I was the 4th of 5. We went to church every week of my life. I served a mission to Montreal. I married a mormon girl and we've raise our 5 in the faith. But why am I a mormom? Because I know by the power of the Holy Ghost that the faith is true...that Jesus Christ lives and cares about me. He's provided us with a living prophet on the earth today to serve us by giving us heavens lastest counsel. A living God I can trust, the promptings of the Holy Spirit and the counsel of a living prophet...is why I'm a Mormon. I'd be lying if I didn't mention our congreation luau and Christmas party...they are awesome!

How I live my faith

I work with a group of young fathers. We meet each week and talk about ways we can practice our Christian faith in our homes and communities. I often ask them who had a great date with your wife this week? Or do they have a date with their wife scheduled on the calender? Who met with their children this week and had some one on one time. Who got an answer to prayer this week from their study of the scriptures. How was the gospel of Jesus Christ relevant in your life this week? Helping these young Dads be better husbands and fathers is one way I live my faith.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Brad Hardisty
The role of the husband and wife in the family is to be an example of the principles and practices they are trying to get their kids to do. For example: Before we tell our kids to clean up their rooms...we might clean up our own first and show them what a clean room looks like. Show more Show less
