Hi I'm Don O Nesbitt

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Hiko, NV. Florida Mission 1961-63. Wyona Ashby and I married in the Logan Temple, 3/29/63

About Me

I grew up on a cattle ranch in Hiko, NV. I served a mission to Florida in 1961-1963. Married the girl of my dreams eight days after I returned from my mission. Got my Bachelors degree in 1968. Served nine stake missions in OR and NV, and served 5.5 years as Bishop in Las Vegas. Wyona and I have seven children and 20 grandchildren. Four of our children served Missions.

Why I am a Mormon

My LDS mother taught me to pray and listen for answers. I am grateful for the Prophet Joseph Smith and the restoration of the gospel, the authority to perform ordinances that God will recognize. I'm grateful for living Prophets and Apostles and Bishops to guide us. Most of all, I know that Jesus Christ lives today and loves us. I'm grateful for temple ordinances like Eternal Marriage and Families. I love Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost as well.

How I live my faith

I'm a former Bishop. My goal is to strengthen the feeble knees and lift the hands that hang down. I love to study the scriptures, attend church, attend the temple as often as possible, and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
