Hi I'm Julie

I am stay at home mom who grew up in Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a stay at home mom with two handsome boys. I love to run, play sports, crochet, sew, and play with my boys. I am a twin and love having a look alike as a best girl friend. I come from a family of seven and my husband come from a family of 10. We love our life and are extremely happy!

Why I am a Mormon

At first I was a Mormon because that was what I was born into. My whole family and extended family for the most part are and were active in the church. I could not ask for a better foundation and childhood. As I grew older however, I became to know for myself why I was a Mormon. Everything good in my life is because of the church. Everything that makes me happy is because of the teachings from the church. The church teaches us how to be happy and honestly you can not find a better group of people to be around. For me, family is so important. The church focuses on strengthening family relationships and on eternal families. This knowledge and the testimony that I have that it is true, give me comfort in knowing that we will be together forever. The other thing I would like to express is my love for the prophet Joseph Smith. After reading and rereading the Book of Mormon during my life, every time my testimony of revelation from God through that man is stronger. How is it that a man with such little education and so young as he was was able to translate the plates and write such wonderful inspiring words? That is because of the power of the Spirit and revelation from our Father in Heaven. He even gave his life in the effort to restore the gospel to the earth today. He sealed his testimony with his life. We are so blessed to live in these times and I am so blessed to have the gospel during these hard times. My family grows closer together each day and I hope to help others grow closer to their Father in Heaven with my testimony. I love the church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by the way I fulfill my callings in my church ward and how I act each day. I visit a set of ladies each month to see how they are doing and offer any assistance they may need that I can help with. I also live my life by the motto "What would Jesus do?" I try to live by example in my house with my kids and outside of the home. I most definitely am not perfect, but I find myself so much more happy if I am trying to progress to live the gospel standards than when I am not. This I learn over and over and over again. The gospel brings happiness period.
