Hi I'm Tom Bostwick

I'm a Husband, a father, a grandfather, an airline pilot, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member of the LDS church all my life, and served a two year mission for the Church. I learned to fly in the US Air Force, and have been flying for the airlines for 24 years. My wife and I met in college, and have been married 34 years. We are the parents of six children and grandparents of eight grandchildren. I enjoy photography, fourwheeling, skiing, hiking, canyoneering, and attending sporting events.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a love of our Savior Jesus Christ, and a love of His gospel found in the LDS Church. As a Mormon I have gained a profound understanding of the infinite atonement of Jesus Christ, and the many ways it has blessed me and my family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily through personal and family prayer, studying the scriptures, and looking for opportunities to serve others. I currently serve in a Church leadership position that offers me many opportunities to serve and teach the youth, and Adults.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Tom Bostwick
The atonement of Jesus Christ is the fundamental principle of the gospel of Jesus Christ. All of us must pass through death, and Christ's atonement makes is possible for us to be redeemed from death through the resurrection. And as all of us have sinned and come short of perfection, the atonement provides a way for us to be cleansed from sin through repentence. Show more Show less

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

Tom Bostwick
We follow the example of the Savior in baptism. Baptism is an ordinance required by all to be saved and receive eternal life. Show more Show less
