Hi I'm Kaye

I live in Colorado, but raised my family in western New York. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of five and a grandmother of two. I enjoy quilting and other handwork, especially knitting. I recently joined a knitting group and found that I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others. I teach piano lessons. Although I'm not an athletic person, I've made it a point in the last few years to improve my physical fitness. As my grandmother used to say, "If you have your health, you have everything."

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a Mormon, so the Church has always been a part of my life. It is an intrinsic part of who I am; I think it would be difficult to know me unless you knew about my church. The joy I feel in the hope I have to return to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, with my family gathered around me, fills my heart to overflowing. I'm grateful for the additional scripture we have from the Book of Mormon and teaching of modern day prophets to guide my life. I'm grateful for the Savior's atonement and the peace and comfort I've received from the Holy Spirit. I've been abundantly blessed by being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

My faith is precious to me and so I try to follow the church teachings. The gospel helps me overcome my natural faults, like being a critical person, and teaches me great lessons about true charity. I've served in various callings and assignments in the church which have helped me grow personally, and I hope, benefited others.
