Hi I'm Annette

Mother of 7 and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I graduated from Nursing School and loved working with the elderly in the Nursing Homes. I found a new love and married him after a year of dating. WE decided to welcome as many littles ones as we could. We currently have six beautiful children, the oldest is 10! I retired early as a nurse and devote full time to my children and home. I try to go on dates every friday. I volunteer at my children's school. I love girls night outs with my friends. I love a good game. I love play dates at mcdonalds. I love a good movie when I get time to sit down and watch one! Basketball is also high on my list of likes as well!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have recieved a personal witness that Jesus Christ is my savior and that he has organized His church upon the earth with his authority. I know that he is involved in the daily intricate details of my life and I have been able to recognzie his hand since the day I made up my mind to live my faith. That day is as vivid to me now as if it happened yesturday! I was 17 and attending a youth seminary program provided by the lds church. I had a terrible attitude about the class and just didn't see why I should go. I decided to check out take P.E.. My reasoning was that I would get extra fit and that would bring me the joy I was seeking in life. As I walked out the doors to head to my High School. I got to the middle of the road and as clear as a bell a verse from the bible (which I had not read as yet) came to my mind in a voice that said, "Choose ye this day whom ye will serve, but as for me and my house we will serve the lord." I was standing in the middle of a road literally and I looked around and felt that I was literally standing at fork in the road and the choice I made that day would affect my life drastically and what I would become. I could choose the world's ideas of happiness or God's ways. So I turned around and went back to class. That's the day my life changed. My attitude changed and I began to feast and thirst for all that I learned from the this Church. I began a daily scripture study and to this day have never slept without having a scripture read or heard. The heavens opened into my life. I began to pray and God took me by the hand and has made my life marvelous. I have overcome great obstacles with the power of Christ's atonement. God has truly changed my life. Walking back into that class that day is the best thing I have ever done! I have recieved a personal witness Joseph Smith did see My father In Heaven and my Savior. Everyday it gives me the tools to succeed and overcome every obstacle I face!

How I live my faith

I get to work with the 16-17 yr old young women. I volunteer every tuesday. I teach lessons on Sunday. We learn about our savior Jesus Christ and work with with them to learn to be future mothers as well as educated and contributing faithful women of the future! We try to pray with our children every night and read scriptures together as a family as well.
