Hi I'm Bryce

I'm a medical school student. I'm a football fanatic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a third year medical student who loves to work to help sick people feel better. I enjoy both watching and playing sports including football, raquetball, golf, fishing, hunting, basketball, table tennis, disc golf, and weight lifting.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born to parents that taught me the gospel plan and raised me to live gospel principles. Later in life (around the age of 18), I began to develop my own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and of the restoration. I believe that the Book of Mormon is truly the word of God and that I can strengthen my relationship with my Father in Heaven by reading the Book of Mormon and abiding by it's precepts. I am happier when I am keeping the commandments and utilizing the atonement to it's fullest. There is undeniable physical evidence in the difference in my life when I am living the gospel plan as opposed to when I stray.

How I live my faith

I struggle each and every day to do a little bit better than I did yesterday, be a little bit more honest, be a little kinder, and come a little closer to God. I listen to a conference talk each morning as I am getting ready for work, and I read at least one page from the Book of Mormon each day before I study school materials. I attend church meetings as often as I can, and I truly strive to live each day the best that I can. As in all aspects of life, I think simplifying and prioritizing is an essential part of living the gospel. The Lord made it really easy on us when he simplified living the gospel by saying "love the Lord thy God with all thy heart... and the second is like unto it, love thy neighbor as thyself". I really try to do those things the best that I can each day.
