Hi I'm Rosa-Lee

I'm a Mormon. I joined the church in 1965. It is a choice that has blessed my life continuously.

About Me

I am happily married to my husband of 20 years. I have been a member of the church since 1965. My husband and I have 6 children and 17 grandchildren between us. We live on a farm in Maine. We love it here with the 4 distinct seasons. Yes, the winters are a little long but spring is always the more welcome.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so glad I joined the church back in 1965. It is the best thing I have ever done because it has effected my life for only good. It has made all the difference in my life to know that the course I am on is pleasing to God as I strive to keep to the path that Jesus Christ has shown through His Gospel. When temptations come, I know the correct principles. I am also grateful for the many opportunities that I have had over the years to serve Him by serving others.

How I live my faith

I have served in many various capacities in the church - working with the young children and the teens and I am currently working in the women's organization. My husband and I also served a full-time mission for the church which was a wonderful experience and one we will always remember and hold dear. Each week I go to church and renew my promises to the Lord that I will remember Him and keep His commandments.

What is being a Mormon like?

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Rosa-Lee
The Word of Wisdom is a health law with spiritual blessings for obeying it. It is simply abstaining from those things that are harmful to the body and eating those things that are healthy for the body. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Rosa-Lee
Mormons are not required to serve a mission. It is a privilege and a great blessing to do so. Young men and older couples are encouraged to prepare to serve a mission; but the choice is theirs. Young women 21 and over may also serve a mission if they so choose. Show more Show less
