Hi I'm Jarom

I lived in Colorado until I was 19. I served as a missionary in Prague, CZ. Now I'm a Police Officer for my local city.

About Me

I used to snowboard a lot, and rock climb, but now I work two jobs and play the occasional video game. I was in a motorcycle wreck that could have killed me, but thanks to protective gear I'm still alive. And I still ride. I've been married for a little while but we don't have children yet. My wife and I knew each other for about 5 years before we were married. We both love Utah, my wife does because she has lived here her entire life and I love it because we are so close to the mountains... and our family lives here too. :)

Why I am a Mormon

Originally I was born into a mormon family. During my high school years I wanted nothing to do with religion of any kind. After I moved back in with my parents who moved to Utah I gave religion another look. When I decided to change my life style, that change made my life so much easier. My life was more fulfilling, productive, and in short happy. And after studying what my church teaches I really gained a greater understanding of why I'm here. What I should be accomplishing with my life.

How I live my faith

There are 13 basic points that my church and I believe. The last sentence of the 13 Articles of Faith is: "If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things." That, to me, is what always stuck with me and lead me back to searching for the good in my church, and the good in others. I try to learn more about what ever I can every day, the more I learn in this life the more I will be able to help others with their troubles. I constantly seek for greater understanding. http://lds.org/study/topics/articles-of-faith?lang=eng
