Hi I'm Rick

I'm a Mormon. I live in Nebraska with my wife and kids and we love the area.

About Me

I am a University of Utah Business Finance graduate and I work in that career field. My wife and I we have 3 kids. We serve faithfully in our church callings, which blesses our lives and the lives of others.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, however, just like everyone else, I had to learn for myself if the Mormon church had all the gospel principles taught by the Savior Jesus Christ. Since these principles are of a spiritual and divine nature, the best person to ask would be God the Father, through prayer. I then asked God if these principles were true and I can affirm that the Holy Ghost has confirmed to me that they are true. This confirmation happened by feeling the fruits of the Spirit as described in Galatians 5: 22-23 - love, joy, peace, etc. I invite you to do the same, to ask God if these things are true and if you ask in faith, doubting nothing, with real and honest intent, you will receive an answer through the Spirit. If you have questions about the church and what we believe in, ask a member or the church, a Mormon missionary or God himself.

How I live my faith

I am a firm believer in helping and serving all people I know with all my heart, might, mind and strength. This is a powerful principle that the Savior Jesus Christ taught and lived by. I am not perfect but I try everyday to live as Jesus Christ did. I give my very best every day and when I fall short or when I make a mistake, I apply the principle of repentance and recommit to doing what is right again. Living as the Savior lived is the best way to show that we are believers and followers of Jesus Christ.
