Hi I'm Adam

I'm a Banker, I'm always up for an adventure, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My best friend is my lovely wife and I do everything with her. We love watching movies and TV shows or playing outside. I'm the oldest child in my family with three younger sisters and a younger brother. I also have 3 beautiful nieces and a studly nephew! I love to do things outdoors: camping, wakeboarding, snowboarding, hiking-- I love them all and I'm teaching my wife how fun they are too. I'm a college graduate with a degree in business management and currently work as a banker. I love spending time with my wife, my family, and friends and all of them are great influences in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of how the gospel of Jesus Christ has changed my life. I feel so blessed to have a modern day prophet who can receive continuing revelation in the face of a changing world. The spirit of God has blessed my life abundantly and I feel it when I attend church or study the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. If I had to boil down all the reasons why I'm a Mormon into one, it would be the Book of Mormon. My testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ has been strengthened so much by this amazing book of scripture. Even though it was written hundreds of years ago by prophets on the ancient American continent, I still find truths which guide my life and bring me comfort and joy. Because I know the Book of Mormon to be true, I also know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. He was an instrument in God's hands to restore the fullness of His gospel to the earth after centuries of darkness and confusion. I know that the Priesthood--the authority to act in God's name for the salvation of His children-- was also restored through Joseph Smith. I think it is amazing that each holder of the Priesthood can trace that line of authority back to Jesus Christ in unbroken succession. God loves each of us, his children. He has restored the fullness of His gospel on the earth again today and there is nothing that can bless individuals or families as much as this fact. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and am so grateful that he loved me enough to die for me. I want to do everything possible to show my love for him and follow him... and that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving in my ward as the ward mission leader. I try to set an example of missionary work by being a friend to those members of the Church we don't see very regularly. I also look for opportunities to share my love of the gospel and of my Savior Jesus Christ with those people I come across from day to day who may be struggling. I've found that the most peace in life comes from trying to follow the example of Jesus Christ and from being an active member of his restored church-- I want to share that peace and happiness with others!
