Hi I'm Susan

I am a theatre director. I'm a seeker of adventure. I'm a wife, grandmother and mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of four children; two daughters which are married and recent college graduates. I also have a new little granddaughter. My husband and I are still in the midst of raising two teenage sons. We live in the Pacific Northwest, near the city but in the country .We as a family love adventure; anything from skiing, to backpacking, kayaking and traveling. I have directed youth theatre for thirteen years and have a passion for Shakespeare and classic literature. I'm also a bit of an Anglophile...

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know it is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I know it is the same church Christ set up during his earthly ministry. It has never been hard for me to believe the story of Joseph Smith, since Heavenly Father has always chosen his prophets from among the humble and unworldly men. I find more peace and more answers in the gospel of Jesus Christ, than in anything else.

How I live my faith

I direct a youth community theatre and really enjoy inspiring youth to reach their potential as actors and as children of God. I also am a director of a young women's summer camp at church and love teaching the girls to be adventurous, self-reliant and the importance of faith.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, we are. We believe Jesus Christ is the literally Son of God and that through his atonement, He is our Savior and Redeemer. We see him as our elder brother and strive to be like him. I think of Christ daily and feel so much love for him. Show more Show less
