Hi I'm Tiffany

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three children, 2 boys (ages 3 1/2 & 2) and one girl (10 months). I love being a mom, but must say it is more challenging than I could have imagined. I am blessed to be a stay at home mother and would not change that for anything. I love to paint, draw, and make crafts, although I do not make time for it often enough. I love when I take the time to sit and play with my children, it allows me to escape from my adult world into their make believe fantasy land. It helps me to cherish the moments, which is important to me because they are already growing so fast. It is difficult at times to balance life. It is really easy for me to spend time cleaning, organizing, especially folding the mountain of laundry that never seems to disappear. However, everything in life must have a balance. My sweet husband is always ready to lend a helping hand. I think my favorite thing about being a mother is that it allows me to be teacher everyday. I love teaching them, whether it is about ABC's, 123's, or about life in general, I love it. I feel so blessed to be able to be a mother. I love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember at a young age wondering why we went to this particular church, and I began questioning my parents. That is when I started a journey to discover for myself whether I wanted to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I read in the Book of Mormon and the story of Joseph Smith. I have always found it easy to go in prayer to my Heavenly Father and so I did that often as well. Even at a young age I was a very logical person, and well it not only all made logical since to me that God our Heavenly Father has always sent Prophets to earth to teach us His plan and continued to do so today through Joseph Smith and other Prophets since him because He still loves us, but also because I felt it was right. I have said that about a lot of things in my life since then, "It just feels right." I know that is the prompting of the Holy Ghost helping me to recognize truth and righteous choices. I know that through God's prophets we are able not only to have parts of His Gospel but His full Gospel. That allows me to know and understand my Savior better, and God's plan and how through my Savior I can return to live with them. Ever since then the Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me endless Joy. Because I know that I am a Child of God and that He knows me personally I receive so much strength on a daily basis to overcome trials and tribulations. Because of revelation through our Latter-day Prophets we are able to have Temples, a sacred place where families can be sealed together not only through this life but even after, forever. I have so much peace because I know that because I was able to be married in the Temple my family is forever as long as I continue to do God's will.

How I live my faith

I am able to work with the children in our local ward. The organization is called Primary and we teach them songs and have interactive lessons with them to help them learn the basics of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I also am a visiting teacher to five sisters in our area. I love being able to check on them and serving them blesses my life.
