Hi I'm Amanda

I'm a college student trying to find my place in life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest child of 6. I have one older sister and four younger brothers. I live at home with my parents and family. I am a freshman in college and am studying music education to become a choir teacher. I love music with all my life and have felt the spirit work through music to touch my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My parent raised me in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I've always believed it was true. I chose to be baptized when I was eight and I was so excited for that event. As I continue to grow up, I have come to realize that I am nothing without the Lord in my life. At the end of every day, I know that He is the only reason I am here at all and He is the only way I will be able to return to see my Heavenly Father again. I am a Mormon because I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, died for me and that without Him, my life is pointless and I can do nothing. I know that with Him, I am able to overcome my trials and be refined at His hand and will one day be able to see Him again and to fall into His embrace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith my striving to be a good example to the people I associate with. I wear modest clothing at school and at work. I keep my language appropriate and try to listen to good music and watch good movies and TV shows. I try and be loving to everyone around me and often pray for the help to be kind and accepting of the people I come in contact with.
