Hi I'm Evan

I'm a product of the Northwest, a business student, and a music enthusiast. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm studying to become an accountant. I try to keep my life in balance with music, outdoor activities, sports, and reading. I have a beautiful wife, a great family, and good friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Seattle, WA. I'll always be grateful to my parents for their examples and positive influence on me. I was baptized when I was 8 and participated all through my teenage years in the church's youth programs. I made a conscious decision when I was 18 that I wanted to follow Jesus Christ and the doctrines of the LDS Church for the rest of my life. I have seen in my own life, and the lives of others, the happiness that comes from following Christ and living his teachings.

How I live my faith

In 2007 I moved to Knoxville, Tennessee for two years to be a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I taught people from the scriptures, provided encouragement, gave service, and helped people overcome challenges and addictions. In 2010 I went to Guadalajara, Mexico to teach small-business development workshops. I was able to help many people find employment and be able to support their families. Today I do my best to serve those inside and outside of my Church. I always want to help and encourage others because I know that's what Christ would do. My faith in Jesus Christ makes me stronger than I could be on my own and helps me live up to my goals and dreams.
