Hi I'm Doug

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, and a father of 3 boys. I love to go hiking, camping, and spending time with my family...

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the LDS faith because I have studied, and prayed on my own to know the truth of the things contained in the Bible and Book of Mormon. I have received my own personal revelation that the those things are true. I now know the Bible is the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. A Prophet of God lives today and he is guided by our Savior and our God. His church was reestablished through Joseph Smith through the help of ministering of Angels. I beleive that through following the teachings of Christ, I can raise my children to be good young men, and someday husbands and fathers.

How I live my faith

I attend church weekly, volunteer in the Cub Scout program, volunteer on the Cub Scout Committee, volunteer for community service projects, and help my neighbors. I also am responsible for contacting and teaching assigned families from church monthly and reporting back their needs to the church so that they can be taken care of. I also raise my children by the example of Christ. I am not perfect, but He and His teachings are. By abiding by those principles my sons will grow to be good husband, and fathers and examples to their children.
