Hi I'm Chanda

I work with animals. Someday I want to have a school to teach music to underpriveleged children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married, but do not have children. I have a music studio where I teach group music/keyboard classes and also private piano lessons. I also work one day a week at a specialty/emergency hospital for animals where I am and ER nurse. I want to live on a farm. I enjoy cooking, sewing, knitting, reading, camping, and music. I accompany my church choir and also a women's performance choir in a neighboring city. I love learning new things and I want to be the kind of person that inspires and helps other people.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are the teachings of Jesus Christ, Himself. I have prayed about the truthfulness of them, and have received my own witness that I have made the right decision. I have seen the hand of the Lord guiding me in my life and felt happiness as I have stayed true to His teachings.

How I live my faith

I am actively involved at church each Sunday and during the week. I am the president of the children's organization (a volunteer position) and have also been involved in the women's ministry, played the organ for the worship service, taught Sunday School, and more. More importantly, I feel that living my faith means putting my beliefs into action no matter where I am or who is watching. t means living with honesty and integrity, and trying to love and respect other people, not judging them. It means trying to be like Jesus Christ every day.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Chanda
A lot of people wonder if we believe in Jesus Christ or if we are Christians. We say YES! We know that is only through our Savior, Jesus Christ, that we can be forgiven of our sins and return to live with God again. We are thankful for the gift of God's Son and feel that our lives should be centered around His teachings. Show more Show less
