Hi I'm Alex

I'm a Husband and Father, Medical Doctor, Linguist, Public Health Organizer, Fly Fisherman, Traveler, Freemason, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a new husband and father to 2 wonderful children and I couldn't be happier. Over the last few years before getting married I worked my way through a graduate program in Public Health and medical school. I love the outdoors, books, spending time with my family and friends, and eating mexican and Asian food. I am a member of the Freemasons, a fraternal organization that promotes fellowship, learning, and living the best of ones religion. As the early leaders of church directed I have tried to learn from the best books, religious and otherwise. I have found through my studies the coalescence of science and religion and real meaning in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Following the Principles of Christ have helped me overcome the major shortfalls in my life. I have found a true happiness by reading the Book of Mormon and I have taken my knowledge of the savior to a higher level. The scripture revealed in our time has answered some of the biggest questions about our existence and our God. My family has remained strong by living the Principles of the Gospel. In a word I am happy, and its the truth of the restored Gospel that gives me my true joy.

How I live my faith

Following Christ is a way of life, he provides opportunities for you to learn and grow and in return he expects you to apply your new knowledge for the good of others. I had the good fortune to spend two years as a missionary, I learned how to teach, I learned to speak Spanish. Since returning home and to school I have had ample opportunity serve the hispanic community in the health care setting, leading up to the founding of my own charity. As Christ commanded "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" I love working with these people in our clinics, hospitals and schools. I feel it is the greatest honor to have been given these gifts. My family has also taken on the great responsibility for connecting the generations of our ancestors. Me and my family have had amazing experiences tracking down the records of the past, even traveling across the country. Learning their stories, their struggles, their faith in their time has really helped me understand where I come from and why I am so blessed with the amazing and loving family that I have.
