Hi I'm Oliver

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 1 of 8 Siblings. I am 23 years old. I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which has been a great blessing. I love to draw, play the guitar, socialise (when I can), play games on the console, and spend time with my family. I hold my family and faith first in my life. I am a returned missionary who served in Scotland and Ireland. I hope to become a graphic designer in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings hope, peace and love to my life. Knowing The Plan of Salvation (The Plan God has provided for us) brings a new light to my understanding. It allows me know what happens to me after this life, and where I was before I entered this world. Knowing that God had called a living Prophet and Apostles in this world reassures me that He had not forgotten me. This world seems to be changing rapidly, and through a living Prophet and Apostles, He can provide loving guidance on how to handle these changes in a way that He approves. The doctrine of Christ does not change, and this creates a stable and secure platform on which to build my values and life.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my faith by trying to focus on the gospel of Jesus Christ (namely, building faith in Jesus Christ, repenting, being baptised by full immersion, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands, and enduring to the end[of this life]) and the attributes which He perfectly demonstrated. Obviously, being imperfect means that I do not always succeed in doing so.
