Hi I'm Spence

I was raised in the church and have spent a lot of time in other countries. The church is everywhere. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired single senior living in southern California. I have been a Mormon all my life. I was born in Utah and my history goes back to the early days of the Church. My greatest joy is being able to work at the Temple. I love taking my boat out in the ocean fishing and just being outdoors. I enjoy going to concerts put on by the Southern California Mormon Choir and the San Diego Mormon choir. I served a mission in Brazil and would love to go back some day. I have worked outside the United States, most of my life, and I speak Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

To begin, I would have to say I am a Mormon because my parents were Mormon. I grew up in the Church and wanted to have those values in my life. My gaining a testimony of the Church came years later as I served a Misson for the Church in South America. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is the true Church of Jesus Christ. I know this so strongly that I could give my life for the Church, if it were necessary. It is a path to true happiness.

How I live my faith

I love going to Church every Sunday. It refreshs me and helps me to stay on the correct path. I enjoy visiting non-members with the missionaries and seeing how the Church changes lives for the better. I have worked in many different capacities in the Church and each one has been a growing experience. I presently serve as the Ward Temple coordinator.  I would encourage anyone, who wants to improve their lives, to seek out the Mormon church and see for themselves the difference it can make.
